About Our Club
The mission of the Northern Colorado Dressage Association (NCDA) is to foster a regional dressage community, dedicated to developing riders of all ages and abilities.
Northern Colorado Dressage Association was established in 1970. Our club supports and welcomes both classical and western dressage riders in our region with education and dressage show opportunities.
We are a chapter of Rocky Mountain Dressage Society and offer schooling shows for both classical and western dressage. We also offer clinics and Ride-a-Test opportunities throughout the year.
Education is key to our mission to support our riders and encourage dressage principles for happy, healthy horses.

Andrea grew up in Michigan showing Arabian horses with her family. But at 17 she acquired an appendix Quarter Horse named Huey that changed everything. Her work with horses changed from Western and Saddle Seat to Jumping and Dressage. Like so many of us, Andrea did her time exercising race-horses, and showing hunter/jumpers in St. Louis and Boston. Andrea became a certified Centered Riding Instructor in 2000, working directly with Sally Swift at Southmowing Farms in Vermont. While living in Boston, Andrea operated a lesson and showing business out of Annasnappet Farm in Plympton and worked for Briggs Stable in Hanover as an instructor. For 14 years her beloved registered Appaloosa, Zac, moved from Boston to Wellington, FL, to Michigan and then to Colorado with her. Andrea moved to Colorado in 2015 and quickly became a member of RMDS and NCDA. She now has an OTTB, Unyielding Storm, that she rides in dressage and cross country with Wendy Chase, and a mini pony that is learning to drive. She enjoys her horses for herself now and makes her living in her second passion, real estate, as a Realtor with Kentwood Northern Properties.
