The mission of the Northern Colorado Dressage Association (NCDA) is to foster a regional dressage community, dedicated to developing riders of all ages and abilities.

Our Meetings

The Northern Colorado Dressage Association meets every second Wednesday from January to May and then again September to November (with a fun year end party/meeting in December). Social hour starts at 6:00pm for those who want to chit chat before getting down to business. At 6:30pm our meeting kicks off with an educational presentation before getting started with the business agenda at 7:00pm. Our membership meetings are open to prospective members as well. Zoom is our venue of choice for the moment but the board is considering in person meeting and locations soon.

 

Northern Colorado Dressage Association welcomes classical dressage and western dressage. In our schooling shows we also offer eventer dressage tests. If you only have a jump saddle, please ride with anyways in an eventer or classical dressage test. Our schooling shows often count for WADCO show awards in addition ton NCDA year end awards. We are revamping our awards for 2023, look for announcements early next year!

educational presentations

Each of our club meetings has a 30-45 minute educational presentation before regular business discussion starts. In 2022, we had a variety of presentations from hazard preparedness to show attire to science of bodywork.

NCDA hosts traditional clinics as well as Ride-A-Test clinics throughout the year.
